Having the opportunity to positively impact a person’s day is one of the main things Marvin Weaver likes most about being a HopSkipDrive CareDriver. He’s completed more than 220 trips in the [Milwaukee market](https://www.hopskipdrive.com/drive/milwaukee-wi/) since becoming a CareDriver in 2021.

**What made you decide to become a CareDriver?**

I worked for Paratransit for seven years. I knew I wanted to be a part of something special, and HopSkipDrive provided that opportunity. 😊

**What would you say are some of the benefits of being a CareDriver?**

Helping families, and the freedom to pick your own schedule.

**Have you had any special experiences with Riders that have been meaningful to you? **

My first trip was amazing! The student talked to me the whole time, from point A to point B. It amazes me how focused and informed the Riders are!

**What do you get out of being a CareDriver?**

The most important thing I gain from being a CareDriver is the ability to uplift someone or make them smile. It just works for me! I like to stay focused, listen, watch and send good vibes every trip.

**Have you learned anything surprising from your Riders? **

The most surprising thing I learned was how good they are at knowing their routes and directions.

**What would you tell someone who is thinking about becoming a CareDriver?**

Sign up and you’ll be welcomed into a great family!!!!!!

**Do you have any advice to share with other CareDrivers?**

Remain positive and be on time.

**Is there anything else you’d like to share about your experience as a CareDriver?**

Yes. I’m looking forward to seeing an increase in ride opportunities in Milwaukee!
