Safety is not a destination; it is a continuous journey of innovation. At HopSkipDrive, we believe transportation should never be a barrier to a student’s potential, which is why we remain laser-focused on providing the most trusted experience for every rider.

Our seventh annual Safety Report highlights our commitment to comprehensive safety, a human-centered approach that prioritizes the physical and mental well-being of riders. We provide a more exhaustive dataset than the industry standard by reporting from the moment a driver is on the way to a pickup — not just when a rider is in the vehicle. By combining direct accountability with state-of-the-art technology, we continue to raise the safety bar for the entire industry.

**2025 Performance & Innovation**

- 99.99% of rides were completed without a major or minor collision
- 99.70% of rides were completed without a safety incident of any kind
- We formed a first-of-its-kind Safety Advisory Council of national experts to ensure our safety policies and features reflect the latest research
- We launched a strengthened curriculum with child development experts to equip CareDrivers with specialized skills in neurodivergence and de-escalation
