# Zero tolerance policy

The HopSkipDrive Platform is designed with the interest of safety of all Users in mind. In furtherance of those safety objectives, HopSkipDrive maintains the following Zero Tolerance Policies. Users reported to have violated one or more Zero Tolerance Policies may be promptly suspended pending an investigation, and those found to have violated one or more of the Zero Tolerance policies will be deactivated in accordance with the law and [Terms of Use](/terms-of-use/).

- [Impaired driving](https://help.hopskipdrive.com/hc/en-us/articles/44647749474324-Impaired-Driving-and-Driving-Hours), including the use, possession, or being under the influence of drugs or alcohol while using the HopSkipDrive Platform.
- Physical contact that is harmful, dangerous, unwanted, or threatening is strictly prohibited on the platform. However, limited physical contact may be permitted in rare situations where it is necessary for the safety of the ride or riders, such as during an emergency or to prevent an imminent safety risk. To understand the types of physical contact that may be allowed under these limited circumstances, please refer to our [Physical Contact Policy](/physical-contact-policy/).
- Illegal use of a mobile device while driving.
- Discrimination against any User on the basis of race, color, national origin, citizenship or immigration status, religion, creed, sex, gender identity or expression, sensory, physical or mental disability, medical condition, marital status, age, sexual orientation, veteran or military status or any other classification protected by state or federal law.
- Sexual harassment against any User including but not limited to, unwanted verbal or physical advances; leering, gestures, or displaying suggestive objects, pictures, cartoons, or posters; derogatory comments, epithets, slurs, or jokes; graphic comments or suggestive messages or invitation; and physical touching or assault, as well as impeding or blocking movements.
- Carrying or brandishing [weapons](https://help.hopskipdrive.com/hc/en-us/articles/44647766262676-Weapons) while using the HopSkipDrive platform, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

To the full extent possible, complaints will be handled in a confidential manner; an impartial, timely, and thorough investigation will be conducted; and resolution based on the investigation will be issued pursuant to the Terms of Use.
