Your Child's Personalized Profile
Your rider’s school creates a personalized rider profile tailored to your child's unique needs and preferences, ensuring every ride is suited to them.
Dedicated Support Line for Your Child
Receive a text with our mobile app download link to track rides in real-time. Call our dedicated caregiver line at (213) 737-9600 to further personalize your child's experience. Before each ride, you'll receive texts with the CareDriver's photo, name, bio, and vehicle details so you and your child feel completely prepared.
Multi-Step Verification Process
Have your rider ready 10 minutes before the scheduled pickup time and watch for our distinctive orange HopSkipDrive decal to easily identify the CareDriver's vehicle. Follow the verification protocol - CareDrivers provide your rider's name and code word (set in the app), while your child confirms their birthday for added security.
Timely & Consistent Notifications
Receive live updates when the CareDriver is en route, arrives, departs, and safely reaches the destination. Track the entire journey in real-time through the HopSkipDrive app and communicate directly with CareDrivers whenever needed.
Changes To Your Rides
If you need to edit the address or make changes to the ride, reach out to your school at least 8 hours in advance.

Parents and caregivers of students with disabilities or IEPs have direct access to a dedicated line (213) 737-9600 to speak with the HopSkipDrive team, enabling a customized ride experience tailored to their student’s unique needs.
Wheelchair-Accessible Vehicle (WAV) Rides
HopSkipDrive is partnering with CarePartners™— non-emergency medical transportation companies — to safely and reliably provide transportation for your rider in a wheelchair accessible vehicle (WAV).
Note: These rides will be completed by CarePartner drivers who undergo a comprehensive certification process - including fingerprinting and background checks.
Rider Assistants
Some students might need a little extra one-on-one attention. To support these riders, your schools can now arrange for a dedicated adult, called a Rider Assistant, to join certain rides.
