HopSkipDrive Welcomes Tom Alderman as CFO and Adam Fisher as VP of Sales to Drive Next Chapter of Growth

We are excited to welcome two accomplished leaders to our executive team who will be instrumental in our next stage of strategic growth. Tom Alderman joins us as Chief Financial Officer and Adam Fisher as our Vice President of Sales, bringing exceptional experience that will accelerate our mission to create opportunity for all through mobility.

This news comes as we experience sustained growth, driven by the trust of our partners. We’re privileged to have expanded our schools served by 35% and our district partnerships by 28% since January, and we’re thrilled to bring on new leaders to support this momentum.

Leadership for the Road Ahead

Tom Alderman, Chief Financial Officer, joins us with over 20 years of corporate finance and investment banking experience, most recently serving as CFO at Kyte, a rental car delivery technology company and driver marketplace, and previously as CFO at the car-sharing marketplace Getaround. Alderman joins as Sung Kim transitions from his role as CFO. We are grateful for Sung’s leadership over the past two years, during which he was instrumental in doubling the business and building the momentum that positions us for the future.

“I’m so proud to have contributed to HopSkipDrive’s success,” said Kim. “I’m excited to watch the team continue to expand its incredible impact for students and families.”

“HopSkipDrive is tackling a fundamental challenge to ensure transportation is never a barrier to a child’s potential,” added Alderman. “I’m energized by this powerful mission and look forward to helping build a durable, long-term business that can expand its impact for students and communities for years to come.”

Adam Fisher, Vice President of Sales, brings a powerful background in building high-performing sales organizations at high-growth technology companies, including leading the enterprise partnership teams at DoorDash, where he helped bring the nation’s largest restaurant brands to the platform. Reporting to Chief Revenue Officer Tyler Baldwin, his expertise will be key to deepening our partnerships with school districts across the country.

“Throughout my career, I’ve been drawn to companies that solve meaningful problems,” said Fisher. “HopSkipDrive serves as an important partner to school districts, and I look forward to working closely with transportation teams to understand their unique challenges and deliver a solution that makes a real difference in the lives of students and families. It’s about ensuring every child has access to the opportunities they deserve.”

The addition of Alderman and Fisher brings further depth to our operational leadership. Their expertise is a key part of our commitment to pairing our mission with the experience needed to scale our impact and meet the evolving needs of the schools and families we serve.

“Tom and Adam are exceptional, mission-driven leaders whose expertise will be instrumental as we enter our next stage of innovation and growth,” said Joanna McFarland, Co-founder and CEO of HopSkipDrive. “Their proven leadership in scaling world-class financial and sales operations will accelerate our ability to solve complex transportation challenges for even more schools and families.”
