The Safest In-Ride Environment
for CareDrivers and Riders
Consistent with CDC guidelines for public transport, masks are now optional except in areas where they are required by local law. We continue to encourage CareDrivers to make safe decisions for themselves and others in the car.
CareDrivers are asked to lower vehicle windows whenever possible and use the car’s vents to help bring in fresh outside air.
CareDrivers are asked to continue to follow CDC guidance for public transport on vehicle sanitization.
HopSkipDrive asks Ride Organizers to follow CDC and local guidelines by keeping Riders home if they show COVID-19 symptoms.

COVID-19 Exposure Reporting
HopSkipDrive will facilitate anonymous COVID-19 exposure reporting to the extent that such notification does not jeopardize privacy interests. No personal information will be shared in the process.

We believe education is
key to safety, and currently connects CareDrivers with safe driving resources. We will provide COVID-Safe Rides Standards resources for Ride Organizers and CareDrivers.
