Are you interested in driving jobs in the Bay Area? HopSkipDrive, a tech solution that helps to create opportunity for all through mobility, might have a great opportunity for you.

Founded by three working moms who were struggling to get their busy kids to and from school and extracurricular activities, HopSkipDrive partners with schools, families, organizations and government agencies to safely and reliably get children (ages 6+) where they need to go.

The San Francisco Bay Area is one of more than 20 areas HopSkipDrive currently services in the U.S. And as far as driving jobs go, being a HopSkipDrive CareDriver is a unique — and rewarding — experience.

Is there a lot of demand for CareDrivers in the Bay Area?

Yes, there is a need for more CareDrivers in the San Francisco Bay Area. Never before has the work we do at HopSkipDrive been so necessary.

School districts everywhere are grappling with bus driver shortages, leaving more and more students — including many in the Bay Area — in need of help getting to and from school, appointments and extracurricular activities.

What’s it like being a HopSkipDrive CareDriver?

There are a lot of driving jobs out there. But none will give you the sense of satisfaction that comes from being a CareDriver. Every ride you claim can make a world of difference in the life of a student. As a CareDriver, you are helping to ensure the well-being of kids in your community by enabling equal access for all to education and other beneficial activities that lead to lifetime success.

“It’s uplifting to know I’m helping kids get to where they need to go, safely! Being a CareDriver has both financial and emotional rewards,” says one CareDriver.

Another shares: “You get a chance to see some kids over and over again, so you feel like you’re a part of their lives. It’s wonderful being able to help them get to and from the places they need to be when their parents aren’t able to.”

HopSkipDrive also helps to connect CareDrivers to vulnerable populations that need access to safe transportation, such as senior citizens, children who are living in foster care, and youth who have special needs or are experiencing homelessness.

In one such instance, HopSkipDrive helped a high school student in foster care stay at her school of origin, enabling her to earn her high school diploma — with honors!

What other Bay Area driving jobs do you know of that will give you the chance to make a difference in your community like this?
