Power User Corner: Introducing HopSkipDrive’s New Booking Platform for Schools

Our clients asked us for a powerful, sleeker, more user-friendly platform for creating, editing, tracking and monitoring trips on HopSkipDrive, and we answered.
The week of April 30, at a pair of client webinars, we rolled out a slick new technology platform built specifically for schools, districts, counties and nonprofits. This new interface makes it easier than ever to book, edit and monitor a large number of trips in one place. For those of you who are first laying eyes on the new tool, here’s what you should know:
What are some of the new features?
While the rollout of the new platform was focused on delivering the same features with increased ease of use, there are some new capabilities you’ll find handy:

Duplicate and edit trips for easy scheduling. Gone are the days where you could only duplicate trips with the exact same details. You can even easily view and duplicate both completed and canceled trips.

Use the trip preview map to see best route overview while you’re planning it. For trips with multiple stops, this lets you optimize on distance and time traveled.

Save pickup/dropoff notes by location so there’s no need to enter information repeatedly. If Amber needs to be picked up by the flagpole after school every day, you need only to save these details once.
How do I access the new platform?
Type client.hopskipdrive.com into your browser window and login with the same credentials you have been using to access the old booking platform. Currently, the new platform requires Google Chrome to use.
How do I get up to speed on how to use it?
Existing clients familiar with HopSkipDrive and our legacy technology will find the new platform simple, intuitive and easy to use. That said, we’re happy to show you around what’s new. Contact your Client Success Representative to request one or more of the following:

How long do I have to make the switch?
We will finish the migration process for all current and new users by June 15, 2019.
